Claudette Jackson Short

CEO/Training Specialist & Speaker, Married 34 years and Mother of Six Adult Children

For over 30 years Claudette Jackson Short has been an enterprising and savvy entrepreneur and businesswoman. She has spent much of her professional career as a salon owner, working nineteen years within the beauty industry impacting and transforming women’s lives.  Claudette has successfully established and nurtured several thriving businesses as a salon owner, also a Chicago Public School (CPS) Vendor providing event planning services and recognized as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).  As a Certified Peristeam Facilitator, PFc and CEO of Queen’s V-Steam and Skin Spa in Chicago, a Holistic Self-Care Luxe Spa, her goal is to assist women who suffer in silence and help to improve women’s health and well-being, Queen’s V-Steam Chicago, rebranded in September 2023 to Queen’s V-Steam and Skin Spa, located in the Beverly business district in Chicago Illinois.

A Cancer Survivor, she realizes the importance of women’s health, wellness and self-care is paramount.  An advocate for women, she also understands first-hand the vital role that self-care awareness plays in enhancing the quality of women’s lives. Claudette is an educational trail blazer and easily recognized new opportunities and ways to serve her community.  She not only provides personal Peri-Steam Hydrotherapy (Yoni V-Steaming) services to the Beverly community and beyond, but she also seeks to educate other Beauty Professionals in the industry how to scale-up their business in Feminine Self-Care Awareness, herbal health and holistic healing.
